Barb Hansen

Instructional Leader

Began at Teachwell:

2004

Why did you choose this field?

I think I’ve always known that I would become a teacher. In fact, I don’t remember considering any other occupation. A principal for whom I have a great deal of respect, encouraged me to become a principal. I enjoy sharing my passion for teaching and learning with other educators.

What or who most inspires you?

I am inspired by students’ natural desire to learn and their passion for living life to its fullest.
I am inspired by people who face adversity and have the courage to survive and inspire others.

How do you hope to make a difference?

Educators are facing extreme adversity right now, and expectations for them have increased drastically. I hope that I can contribute to the passions that inspired us to pursue our degrees as educators and school leaders – providing a quality education for students.
