Began at Teachwell:
Why did you choose this field?
I enjoy working with students to help them reach their potential and goals!
What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
I thought I was going to be a counselor.
What or who most inspires you?
My dad. He is the hardest working person I know. He is very humble and will always help anyone out if he can!
I like the opportunity to work with so many students closely and hope I can help at least a few students.
What are you proudest of?
How do you hope to make a difference?
Having positive relationships with students, and building rapport so they feel safe and know that I truly care about them and the choices they make.
What lessons has your work life taught you?
I have been a single mom struggling to pay my bills and care for my children the best I can. This was one of the hardest times in my life. I was working either at my job or as a mom 24/7. It has taught me to take help whenever I can!! It also taught me that hard work will eventually pay off!
What is your background experience – degrees, experience, skills?
I worked with the Sioux Falls School District for 7 years as behavior facilitator.
People would be surprised to know that I . . .
have 3 kids, 14 year old, 10 year old, and a 4 year old!
