Why did you choose this field?

Being an SLP is a challenging, rewarding, and evolving profession. It's a balancing act of science, art, problem solving, and human connection. It has allowed me the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan. I wanted to be challenged in my work and to be able to help.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

An optometrist.

Why Teachwell?

Teachwell is helping students, teachers, and professionals in so many exciting ways. I'm honored to get to work with an amazing team of SLPs!

What are you proudest of?

My family!

How do you hope to make a difference?

If I can make one person smile and know they are accepted exactly as they are, it has been a successful day.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

Human beings are so resilient.

What is your background experience – degrees, experience, skills?

I graduated with my BA from Augustana University and with my MS from Minnesota State University-Mankato. My background is as a medical SLP working with adults for the past six years.
