Why did you choose this field?

I have always loved trying to figure out what various supports might help level the playing field for people with disabilities.

What or who most inspires you?

My mother has been my biggest inspiration

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

I knew that I wanted to work in a health related or teaching profession and with my career I am able to do both!

What lessons has your work life taught you?

When teams work together to find solutions, more doors open for those individuals we serve.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope to help improve the lives of others by providing the most appropriate assistive technology tools and recommendations to support their individual needs.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I have a Master's degree in Communication Disorders and have completed the Assistive Technology Applications Certificaction Program.  I have taught numerous graduate level classes and presented in-services for staff on a variety of assistive technology topics.

have taken my family to all 50 states, as I love to travel!
