Began at Teachwell:

 2017

Why did you choose this field?

I love helping people one on one. This field allows me to be hands on while helping individuals grow and succeed.

What or who most inspires you?

My entire family!

What was your favorite subject in school?

I loved Psychology during my time at the University of South Dakota. I took multiple courses about growth and development.

Why Teachwell?

I just happened to learn about Teachwell when this position was open. I began to look into the website and knew this was a place I wanted to work. Everything that Teachwell does and stands for is exactly what I want to do with my life and career. Also, I have always wanted a bulldog so when I saw Chewie I knew it was meant to be!

What keeps you motivated?

The moment when you see something click with a student, that moment is priceless and makes it all worth it.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope to make a difference by being that person students can look to for help and guidance. Making a student feel safe, respected, and providing an environment they can grow in.

Goals for the future?

In the future, I would like to continue to further my training and certifications so I am always at the top of my game. I would also like to own a house with a bulldog by my side.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I went to the University of South Dakota where I received a degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology. After college, I worked at a Youth Center as an after school teacher focusing on math, reading, and social skills. I am organized with a passion to help people anyway I can.

People would be surprised to know that I . . .

am a HUGE cheese-head Packers fan. I went to Lambeau field for my first professional football game in 2016 and loved every minute of it. I am also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and the Hobbit.
