What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

When I was young, I believed I was going to be the first woman President. My parents always encouraged me to reach for the stars. Now that I am older, I definitely would not want that job!

Why Teachwell?

When you come to work at Teachwell, you won't just be given a job, you'll be given a career. One thing that stood out to me when choosing Teachwell were the opportunities there are to grow in my career. I appreciate knowing that I have administration looking out for my best interest and pushing me work on things that I am passionate about. This is something that you won't find many places.

What one word best describes you?

One word to describe me is passionate.

What quirky thing are you known for at work?

I like to eat Ramen for breakfast sometimes!

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I graduated from Augustana University in 2016 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education. I taught in a self-contained special education classroom for 5 years. I went back to school for my Masters in Leadership in Education at Southwest Minnesota State University. I became very passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis and decided to switch my career to become a behavior therapist. I am currently back in school through the University of South Dakota for my certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, in hopes to sit for the Boards to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. During the last year, I realized how much I missed the classroom and found that Teachwell is the perfect place for me!
