Why did you choose this field?

I chose the field of Speech Therapy for its diversity and flexibility. I always knew I wanted to work in a school setting where I was able to help others. I enjoy the fast pace throughout my day and that no two sessions are the same. I value the rapport I am able to build with my students and knowing I am making a difference in their life, whether it’s building their confidence or helping them find their voice.

What or who most inspires you?

My son inspires me the most, he reminds me to slow down and enjoy the beauty in all things.

What are you proudest of?

My family.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I want to make a difference for every kid who struggles with inclusion and to live in a world where being different is okay!
