Why did you choose this field? 

I chose this field because it seemed to be a perfect combination of education ... medical ... and art!

What or who most inspires you? 

There are so many things and people to be inspired by .... my co-workers, who inspire by example ... the children I work with, with their every day challenges ...and their parents, who love and nurture them through those challenges.

What were your favorite subjects in school?

 Art, PE and Biology

What keeps you motivated?

What keeps me motivated is watching a child learn to do something they never thought they would be able to do! 

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I attended SDSU for my undergraduate work.  My degree was in fine art and secondary education.  I student taught at Cleveland Elementary and Patrick Henry Middle School (it was Jr. High back then).  I received my masters in Occupational Therapy at USD.  I currently work in the Brandon Valley School district and at Dakotabilities and Sanford. 

What quirky thing are you known for around the office?

I ride a motorcycle!
