Why did you choose this field?

I started teaching to be a positive role model to young minds. I wanted to make a difference in my community and inspire those around me.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a rock radio DJ!

What or who most inspires you?

My wife - strongest person I know and always willing to take on new challenges.

The staff all have the mission and goals to serve our students at the highest level, and make a change in the community.

What are you proudest of?

My family, their support, and my perseverance to go back to school and get my teaching certification.

How do you hope to make a difference?

Teach young minds their own personal value and how to better communicate and interact with their peers.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

Patience

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I have a Bachelors of Science in Journalism with a Teaching Certification from South Dakota State University.
