Why did you choose this field?

To ensure everyone has a voice in this world! Small progress can make big changes!

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

A Bakery owner.

What or who most inspires you?

My family, friends, faith and patients.

Why Teachwell?

I was looking for a new challenge in a different type of school setting. I found Teachwell through a couple of SLP friends who already worked for Teachwell and it felt like a great fit.

What are you proudest of?

My 4 kids, and husband!

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope to help students learn and grow into who they're meant to be.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

That even small, slow changes in therapy can make a huge impact on children's lives. That kindness goes a long way, and just showing up for these kids can grow into a trusting relationship.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I received my Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from the University of South Dakota along with my Masters degree. For about a year I worked for Big Stone Therapies out of Watertown, SD but ultimately ended up in the Watertown School District and was an SLP for 7 years serving ages Birth-12th grade.

People would be surprised to know that I . . .

I love dogs, the San Francisco 49ers and playing golf.
