Why did you choose this field?

I always knew I wanted to be in a profession where I helped people. When I was in college, I shadowed an SLP and had the best experience. I love that you can work across many settings, there is always room to gain new knowledge in the field and ultimately, make a difference in people's lives!

Professional soccer player

What or who most inspires you?

My family and the people that I get the honor of working with

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope I can help children improve their communication skills to help them feel more confident in day to day interactions.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

Hard work pays off and slow progress is still progress.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I received my Master's degree and Bachelor's degree from the University of South Dakota where I was a student athlete playing soccer. I have worked in the medical setting with experience in acute care, rehab, outpatient and home health settings before starting my time with Teachwell.
