Why did you choose this field?

When I was in early elementary, I was extremely reserved and shy. The highlight of my school days I do remember was when I would get to go to Speech. When the SLP would come to the classroom door and it was my time to go, I was always so excited and looked forward to each session. It was at a young age I decided that I wanted to "do Speech" with kids at school so I could make them feel as special and brighten their days while working on speech and language skills as those sessions made me feel.

What or who most inspires you?

My parents.

To explore the profession of Speech Language Pathology from a progressive and innovative stance.

My family.

Bachelor's Degree from SDSU and Master's Degree from USD 2003 (MA/CCC-SLP)
