Why did you choose this field?

I have always known I wanted to work in a helping profession. I love kids and spending time building relationships with them.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be either a teacher or a social worker.

Why Teachwell?

Being a recent college graduate, I wanted to gain experience and grow both professionally and personally. I know a couple of people who work at Teachwell and have heard amazing things, so that is ultimately what led me here!

What are you proudest of?

Earning my bachelors degree!

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope I can be a positive influence in the students' lives and someone they feel they can turn to.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

That it is incredibly important to have an open mind and to be patient during stressful or challenging times.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I graduated from South Dakota State University with my bachelors degree in human development and family studies in 2024. I worked for Boys and Girls Club during their summer and after school care programs as a Site Coordinator.
