Why did you choose this field?

I grew up in a home with a social worker. I have always been around special populations and it was never a question for me to teach or not to teach. My passion.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

A veterinarian or a cowboy

What or who most inspires you?

People who pursue their passions.

Why Teachwell?

They intrigue me with their student centered approaches.

What are you proudest of?

I am proudest of the students I have worked with who say hi to me on the street as they go about their successful lives.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope to enable people to be successful in their chosen fields.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

Every day is a new day and life is to short to dwell on yesterday.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I am a retired special education teacher of 42 years.
