What or who most inspires you?

I am inspired by people who keep putting one foot in front of the other after enduring tragedies – losing a child, surviving a cancer diagnosis, suffering from abuse. The circumstances they are dealt help me to put my own “problems” into perspective.

Why Teachwell?

I like the autonomy given to staff, the flexibility and support for work/life balance.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

A journalist.

What keeps you motivated?

I like being able to rework systems in order to streamline and improve efficiency.

How do you hope to make a difference?

By providing caring, attentive staff support to our employees who do the hard work of teaching our students.

What is your background experience – degrees, experience, skills?

BA degree in political science and journalism. I worked in law and law enforcement for 22 years before joining Teachwell

What quirky thing are you known for around the office?

I'm not a very typical HR person. We'll just leave it at that.
