Why did you choose this field?

I knew that I wanted to do something with children where I would be able to have an impact on their life. My college advisor had suggested the ABA field to me when I was not sure on where I should do my internship. After doing some research, I learned that within this field, I could really make a positive impact on children's lives.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

An elementary teacher

What or who most inspires you?

My parents

Why Teachwell?

I came to Teachwell to make a positive impact on students' lives. I also came to Teachwell because they put the students' needs and well being before revenue.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope that I am able to make a difference by being able to help children overcome different obstacles that they will be faced with. I want to be able to help them grow and learn while giving them support and love as everyone deserves to have their own cheerleader.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

To be patient and to celebrate the little things in life.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I went to South Dakota State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Rehabilitation Services. I started working in the ABA field at Behavioral Care Specialists in 2021. Prior to working in the ABA field, I was a nanny and a substitute teacher back in Brookings SD.
