Why did you choose this field?

My passion for teaching, counseling, and helping others lead me to the School Psychology profession.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian or teacher.

What or who most inspires you?

Watching students make positive growth and progress inspires me to continue to be and advocate for meeting children’s needs and watching them flourish!

Why Teachwell?

Teachwell’s purpose behind helping families, students, and schools align with my own “why”. I am also excited to be a part of a career and co-operative that support schools all over the state of South Dakota in many different ways!

I am proud of my family!

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope to continue to be an advocate for students and their families.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

Work life has taught me to keep having a positive mindset! Each day is a new opportunity and experience in life!

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I went to college to be a teacher. During my student teaching experience, I worked with a School Psychologist and became interested in the profession. After graduating with my bachelors in teaching, I then decided to continue on with my schooling and obtained my Education Specialist degree for School Psychology.

My husband and I decided to turn one of our hobbies together into a small business. We film and create wedding videos all over the Midwest.
