Why did you choose this field?

I chose this field because I love working with children with disabilities and helping families.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

I knew I wanted to be a school psychologist from a young age.

What are you proudest of?

I am proud of the family I come from and have created around me.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope to make a difference in the lives of the children and families I work with by fostering a positive and inclusive school community revolved around personal growth and well-being.

What lessons has your work life taught you?

I have learned that kindness will get you further than expertise.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with concentrations in Special Education, Addictions Studies, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities from Minot State University. Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling and School Psychology from the University of South Dakota.
