Why did you choose this field?

I realized ABA truly helps children reach their full potential because of how individualized their goals are. Helping children achieve academic goals and learn essential life skills is why I choose this field.

What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?

A pediatrician.

How do you hope to make a difference?

I hope through being a model of compassion and patience, students will feel that they always have someone to support them in every way possible

What lessons has your work life taught you?

My work life has taught me that patience is truly a virtue. Not everyone can do this type of work and it is something I can be proud of doing as a career.

What is your background? Experience, degrees, skills, etc.?

I started my undergrad degree at the University of South Dakota but then transferred and graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Spanish in 2020. I have worked with children since 2016 while going to school and discovered ABA through being an RBT for three years at a private ABA clinic in Iowa.
